Each turn, players generate resources through a custom die system, invest in new colony tiles, and engineer scoring chains that reward careful planning. Base tiles store points and are worth one more than they hold, creating layered decisions between short-term gain and long-term efficiency. Bank tiles offer flexible resource management, applying additively after multipliers and opening tactical sacrifice options at key moments.
 
With a maximum roll of 3 points per turn, every purchase matters. High-value cards such as the Fungus Farm can dramatically accelerate growth, but only if you manage the burn rules and pacing of your colony correctly. Tiles cannot be sacrificed the turn they are bought, forcing players to think ahead and commit to strategic timing.
 
The endgame challenges players to achieve a fully developed colony board, balancing expansion with sustainability. The result is a tight economic engine wrapped in authentic myrmecological theme, where the smartest colony wins.
