Location(s): The Bank Campground, Shelf Road
Purpose: Collect Insects and Investigate Insects near Cañon City
There has been moderate sampling effort around the Arkansas river in Canon City, In fact, a cotype of Temnothorax schmitti was collected there. With some former entomology Club members, I went up beyond Canon City to look for insects at the bank campground.
