For this project I learned about Gem photography and making flyers/advertisements. I visited the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (DMNS) rocks and minerals exhibit for this session and was particularly interested in the gems. I was on the trip to do some collection photography but decided that these images came out better than the collection images. I used a lot of illustrator to make the flyer, as recently I have been doing some board game design and was already used to using it. Illustrator allows me to turn my images into vectors for rescaling of the object to different resolutions! Below is the advertisement I designed for the project. I vectorized all the images and the logo.
